Are you struggling to stay on top of things? Or are you just looking for a way to be more organised and focused?
The Passion Planner is something that more and more athletes are turning to to solve these problems.
Above is a simple diagram highlighting the benefits of having a passion planner. Below explain’s each a bit more:
KEEP IT ALL TOGETHER
one place to store everything. tasks, appointments, class schedules, notes, doodles, journal entries, goals. you name it, we got a space for it.
CUSTOMIZE IT TO YOUR NEEDS
whether you are a recent grad who feels a little lost and is in need of some direction and inspiration, or a professional looking to balance work, family and your passions, this planner is structured to be tailored to your needs.
FOLLOW YOUR PASSIONS
short and long-term goal setting activities, weekly to-do-lists and monthly check-ins keep you focused and remind you of your goals.
weekly and daily focus sections allow you to target and focus on what is most important.
separated and prioritized to-do-lists for personal and work tasks because all too often we tend to mix work with our personal lives and put our personal needs on the back burner.
a physical notebook allows you to empty your thoughts onto paper and declutter your mind, enabling you to visualize your goals and focus more on the present.
weekly challenges give you the opportunity to challenge yourself to positively influence your life.
LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE
complete annual and monthly calendars allow you to get a bird’s eye view of your year and months so you can plan ahead and stay organized.
MANAGE YOUR TIME
a daily appointment calendar allows you to easily keep track of how you spend your time.
CREATE A KEEPSAKE
high quality materials ensure that you can enjoy your planner, ideas, memories, and reflections for years to come.
inspirational quotes and “good things that happened” sections keep you motivated and focused on your progress.
All Star and Mayo full back Gerard Cafferkey (@Caffatron) has found the Passion Planner a great help since been introduced to it by a friend.
The passion planner was given to me as a gift and as a tool to help me deal with performance anxiety. The days before big games were always hell for me, I was constantly on, constantly thinking about the game and what I should be doing to prepare. This lead to me being fatigued come Sunday from pure anxiety.
I started to use the passion planner to map my ‘must dos’ coming up to a game. This gave me great confidence knowing that I had ticked all the relevant boxes. I also got great comfort from the exercise as it allowed my brain time to turn off.
Also, it has then revolutionised the way I approach my longterm goals, making sure that I get the important stuff done on a weekly basis in January and February that will make sure I’m the best footballer I can be in May and September.
It’s definitely worth looking into if you want to improve not only your work/life balance, but also you performance on and off the field.
